I am making a flip flop cake. I want to make waves to attach to a blue board. I will use graham cracker crumbs as the sand. I saw the waves I want to make in a book. The instructions read "make the royal icing waves using the run-in sugar method. Use the pattern supplied. Make about 7 of each & let dry. Cover board with thinned blue royal icing. When dry attach the waves with a little blue royal icing." What is the run-in sugar method? How can I make the waves using the templates in the book? The waves go on board vertically.<br />
