i host a forums for a guild in a video game, but it uses a free domain name to which i dont need a dns server they allready provide it and forward to my ip address, but im looking to create one for my mortgage company, but obviously i dont want to use a free domain name (discreditably), i tried installing bind pe on my system, just was playing around with old domain i allready own, and i could not get the domain name to bind to my dns server.
is there any guide out there on the web that explains this thoroughly, or can anyone in here tell me how to go about setting a dns server up?
