How Do I Check Settings For Emails

Members on my forum are no longer getting emails so they can confirm there email address.
Is there any settings i should check.

Ive just done a diagnostic check and got this result. (see screenshot)

mmm maybe ile check that one out cheers, not having much look with my forum, everything is going wrong.
