How can I remove the "What's Going On?" Section

Can some help me remove from the Forum?
Then re-enable it once the Forum starts getting posts.

I have searched and found the home template but don't know what to do to remove the What's Going On? section.

Do your self a big favor, enable HTML Comments in admincp, then check out the page source you want to change. It will help you figure out where you are and what you need to be doing to get where you want to be...

That's a great option, thanks

Is there anyway of just commenting out a table so it can be re-added simply. I deleted the table and added deletion code to a text file and saved locally refering to its location in a html comment tag.

I tried commenting out the table but that just removed the formatting and left the variable information displayed on the Forum

It removes formatting of the table but still displays the variables and still has: //--> displayed below the variables.
