How can I Import data (text) from a word document into a SQL Server database?

I have this huge Word document with data about contact details about people. There are close to 350000 such contact details that needs to be inserted into a database.How do i do this? Do i convert it into XML and then to database, or should i use some scripting language to parse the word data and insert it into database?Please do help this.
