Anyone knows any tool other than the poodle predictor at http://www.gritechnologies.com/tools/spider.go that does the same kind of thing? Just need a second opinion on some stuffs. Need to see how search engines are reading and indexing some of my pages.Thanks.yu should use sitemap and add it to google. This is another spider simulator:http://www.smart-it-consulting.com/internet/google/googlebot-spoofer/index.htmbut if you're trying to assess how the page appears in terms of keywords then this is a great tool:http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.htmlGoogle sitemap is your best bet. What is the reason of seeing the site as the spiders do?BTW those scripts are history as most of the modern bots understand how the site is viewed, so they are more like regular browsers.Gonna find out more about this. Hope it helps Thanks to Byzantium for referring two great tools. The problem with so many tools that do all the analysis and are free ... which ones do google actually penalise you for using?Yes, you can run the risk of being penalised by google for simply using a free tool that uses google resources... and without knowing which tools do that, then you can't tell if you are affected which is annoying as if I knew which ones would adversely affect my google serps, I would avoid using it for sure.It is not only free tools but also paid tools ... I did read on googles site that using tools such as webpositiongold could have a negative impact on your website... and that was costing over $360 the product I found when trying to figure out which type of tools would be harming my web placment (if I were to use them)... as obviously do not want to suffer any penalties. The lynx viewer will show your page as it looks to most spiders.quantumcloud wrote:
