Hosting domain effect ranking?

My partner and I have about 80 domains and they are all hosted under one domain. A rep from Go Daddy said that we need to have another hosting account because the domains are not all related. We are not doing well in the rankings at all. He said this is holding us back from ranking higher. Is this true?

Thanks It is recommended to have your SEO like backlinks & what not to be relevent to your site as well do'follow links but its not manadatory, so the websites different from each other wouldn't be the primary reason why your not gaining rank.

If your web hosting server can support your full amount of domains then you should be fine

I'd only recommend getting multiple server(s) if your gaining a huge response with a large amount of activity, other then that if you got the resources to host all the domain(s) than use them!

In regards to your PR, for marketing to boost your rank start practicing some SEO standards & cover your basics theres alot of information out there for you & anyone else looking to gain ground. You can always pay someone a reasonable budget to help you get & gain control, v7n is fullllll of experience

just network around ^^ Best advice to you would focus on Social Websites such as Facebook, v7n, Twitter and blogs. Network with established websites Gain any affilation thats relevant to your websites as well, its good when multiple sites in the same industry support each'other you both win.

PS: . . . use google for "ranking'seo'ect" tips. & ask here on v7n ^_^

Thanks Hi,

I think you might mean having 80 domains hosted under one hosting space. Generally speaking, this would not affect your SEO efforts since it is a general issue for many domains to share a same IP address. But, if you want to link to between your 80 domains, hosting them on different IPs would be more helpful for back linking purpose.

all the best, ^_- correct

Also one tip would be linking yourself with your webhost if possible

There establishment & business could help increase yours
