For Some reason, Google is only caching my home page. If I search for anything on my site, it only brings up the content on my home page or in my forums. All the linked articles and news etc... are not cached. What can I do to get google to cache the other pages of my site?thats weird. as far as i know, google caches everything when it caches. all or nothing basically. how long ago was this??Dubya wrote:can u tell my why google casched just my home page?i don`t have frames:|http://www.google.pl/search?hl=pl&c2cof ... lr=lang_plMy site does not use frames. Just tables and style sheets. Any other theories? And It was cached on the 7th of november last time I looked.Dubya wrote:Yeah, I changed domain names in october.just check your server logs from the time you started your domain. Do you see bot activity on the other pages besides the homepage? Are other bots getting there like yahoo?make sure you are using text links and not image rollover links.I doubt if this is the problem, but do you have a robots.txt file that is blocking the other pages?yeah the image rollovers on your left margin could be causing a problem. You can use CSS to do the same thing and it's more efficient and the spiders like it a lot better. IF you don't want to redesign it, then add text links in your footer at the very least and/or a text link to a sitemap with text links to all your pages.I agree with what Jess has said, point a few links to them and they will soon be cached by google.Well, I went ahead and made a site map linked to the home page. Hopefully that will help.
