If yes then you got to wait.Do you have robot.txt and sitemap ?? This is the best way of indexing other pages.Hello Atno,Its good that you are olnine now.Can you predict what the PR will be for this website. Should i work more on backlinks? Lot of my recent backlinks are not reflecting.http://www.jnbsilver.comwhat is "robot.txt"?GIve me AN Example pleaserobot.txt will look like thisits just a notepad or .txt doc, create something like this. This is done to give instructions to the bots.# Robots.txt User-agent: * Disallow: /images/ User-agent: * Disallow: /admin/ User-agent: * Disallow: /error.aspx/ Note : * refers to all bots, if you want to direct only google then instead of * put googlebotDisallow: /images/ means you do not want the bot to index this folder.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Create something like this and put it in the root directory.you can type any website http://www.theirdomainname.com/robots.txt you will find if they have one, just try for google, dmoz, etc....My webserver isnt reflecting the robots.txt but iam having one, soon i will rectify this problem.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you are looking for a sitemap example look at this http://www.jnbsilver.com/sitemap.xmlhttp://www.google.com/sitemap.xmlchouSubmit a sitemap to Googlehttp://www.google.com/webmasters/sitema ... rator.htmlIf you have images as your navigation links, is that not a good thing then??, even if you use the <alt> tags???.my site is pure html sitei cannot able to open "www.theirdomainname.com/robots.txt "this site why?Because theirdomainname.com was just an example address he was giving you. Think of it as www.[substitute a real domain name where this bracketed statement is].comI meant to say type http://www.google.com/robots.txthttp://www.dmoz.com/robots.txtyou can better copy this in a notepad and save it as robots.txt and upload it to the root of the webserver.User-agent: *Disallow:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------ExamplesThe following allows all robots to visit all files because the wildcard "*" specifies all robots. User-agent: *Disallow:This one keeps all robots out. User-agent: *Disallow: /The next one bars all robots from the cgi-bin and images directories: User-agent: *Disallow: /cgi-bin/Disallow: /images/This one bans Roverdog from all files on the server: User-agent: RoverdogDisallow: /This one bans keeps googlebot from getting at the cheese.htm file: User-agent: googlebotDisallow: cheese.htmedawg wrote:
