Help!!!

i just installed this forum

when i try to register and account..
i filled up all the blanks, password, email blablabla and click on process...

then it gave me a database error and ask me to contact server admin shit..

any idea what went wrong? :X

That sounds like the generic dbase error message that is shown to the users. If you set your email in the config.php you should be getting an email with a more detailed error report. Posting that email would help.

the forum is host on a vps.
and ummm, i'd tried hosting it with my own comp weeks ago and it seem fine with registering..

I wonder what went wrong.. Can someone guide me?

Doesn't matter where it's hosted. If you set up config.php properly you should have gotten an email. There's almost nothing we can tell you from a generic dbase error message. Check your setup to see if your email is in there.

Just reinstall it. If your config.php had wrong database info, it wouldn't install at all, so that's not the problem.
