how do i install fake usermod

ive downloaded it right now from here for 3.7.1 forum and it has 2 files inside and no read me file?

sorry im new to vb and have used ipb for 7 years :|

If you can post the actual link to the hack/mod you used then i will be able to help you.

If this is the mod you're talking about - http://www.vbteam.info/vb-3-7-x-addons-template-modifications/6001-fake-user.html - then import the product (.xml file) in your ACP, and upload the php file to your forum root directory (I'm guessing on that one, to be honest).

you need to go

ADMINCP>> Products & Plugins>> Add Import Product>> then upload your XML for the fake users.
it should now give you confirmation message.
Now to configure them
admincp>> vBulletin options>> Fake user mod>> then you can edit.
