pls, can someone help me to install vbseo sitemap generator to my forum
before i haved vbseo, worked perfect but now i have only errors

i solved problem, and vb tell me sitemap is created but i dont know where

can someone help me with that

in vb we have option
Sitemap Files URL
By default the vBSEO Sitemap files will be located in your forum root. Use this field to specify a different location, for example, your site root: http://www.yourdomain.com

if i les that blank (without path) where is sitemap, i dont have sitemap in my rott directory


i find sitemap in vbseo_sitemap_data/
but in my control panel i have error

folder vbseo_sitemap is 755 permision and folder data is 777
how to solved problem with google bot
pls help, thx all
 
The sitemap files are located in /yourforumroot/vbseo_sitemap/data, but when you submit your site to Google/Yahoo or whatever, tell them that the files are in your forum root, aka hxxp://www.yoursite.com because the rewite rules will take care of helping the search engines find your sitemap files even though they are not where you are telling them they are.

Kinda confusing, but hopefully clear.

When you submit your sitemap to them, did you give them the URL hxxp://www.yoursite.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz? And did you upload the included .htaccess to your forum root or are you already running VBSEO which would already have the necessary rewrite rules?
 
for uplaod sitemap u mast give url to yours sitemap
firs in pic is in root folder and second is in vbseo_sitemap folder

.htaccess is in rott directory
before all this is worked like charm, but when i changed hosting....

Looks like you had been using VBSEO but uninstalled it and now the google links established when you were using it are all dead.
 
yes i haved vbseo and i uninstal and install again becouse i haved error and i dont know how to fixit

how to fix problem with google now

Just a question: did you start getting errors with VBSEO after you moved to another host? If so, the reason for VBSEO and sitemap not working may be one and the same.
 
whel i dont loocked in error log in control panel

but i see before 5-6 days logs and i see error in april 2009 google bot ip "file dont exist"
and then i start to search problem
i thinks is problem with hosting company
