help(with backups)

ok im switching hosts

i took backup then extracted the vbulletin.sql to desktop (also changing domains so db named dif idk if it affects it) ok i went to backupwizard and php my admin i upload db it loads then it says restoring files... nothing seems to happen...

Maybe your new server doesn't allow you to create a Database using phpMyAdmin. Usually you have to create the database and restore the tables to the new database. If you have a create database in the backup sql, you probably need to delete it. Create the new database on your server then restore the sql to it with phpMyAdmin. HTH.
