Hi everyone.I'm slowly starting to panic and would greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions.I was away for three weeks in September and returned to find that my hosting company had removed my website due to an accounting error. The website was down for a week and put back up on Oct 2nd. Googlebot stopped by during the downtime and recieved 404 errors and I assume as a result, dropped my website.I was ranked quite well for certain search terms now nothing!I noticed from my logs that googlebot stopped by on 8th oct but my website has still not been reinstated?Do you think Google will reinstate a website that has had 404 errors? How long to you think it will take? Will my good rankings be returned or will I have to start from scratch again Do you think I need to contact google? If so how.....and what to say :-{Thanks a millionFiffiHey there,Well, have you made an XML sitemap yet?If not, I would create one and submit it to google. If you have, then try resubmitting that to google. It lets google know you have fresh content or made updates to your website. In this case, your errors will be gone and google will refind your pages. It will take some time, but you will get back up in the rankings.Best of luck.Sincerely,Travis [email protected] wrote:Sitemap is the best way to indexed your site quickly...fifi00 wrote:
