Any help would be appreciated!
Over the weekend our tmp/mysql.sock file was accidently deleted - caused by exceeding our disk quota on a shared server.
As suggested in other threads, we have tried retarting MySql from the command line (safe_mysqld), however, MySql basically falls over straight away - "Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /var/db/mysql
mysqld daemon ended".
I must confess to being a novice so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.
