I have start my new blog-site from Jan 14, 2011. Right now it appears between between 6th page to 14th page for primary keyword, which is meaningless for organic traffic...
Sometimes, it appear on 6th page in morning but in late afternoon, it appears on 9th page...
What may be the reason behind it ???
What I should do to have stable appearance...??
No doubt I am continuously making new backlinks but what are the essential things to come in first 2 pages.I mean which parameters, I need to consider now ?? Quote: Originally Posted by Nirav Dave
No doubt I am continuously making new backlinks that is the reason of the change of position, its called google dancing, that happens when google is calculating your position based on your backlinks but new links are getting added, its completely normal and it will settle down, you just need to wait for new sites its very common.

For my website! rankings are on 2nd page and then on 6th page.
Looking forward if any experienced person reply. Although your site will likely settle down in a few months, you can certainly expect your site to move up and down in the SERPS for its entire existence.
I have sites that are over 5 years old and still fluctuate on a daily basis. One day I'll be at #5 for a keyword, and the next day I'll be #9. Two days later I'll be back to #5. Who knows...this is fairly normal I guess. that is called Google Dance. A lot of web owners experience that dilemma too.
