Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed.
I was working in the IIS system administrator trying to get connected to an SQL database and somehow managed to mess up access to ASP.NET. When I try to access a page on my local system I now get "Server Application Not Available" error. I checked the error log and am told that "asp_wp.exe could not be started HRESULT for failure 80004005"

Any idea what I did and how I fix it?

Thanks,
TomttRestart IIS if you are on a development box and don't have lots of users connected.Thanks!. I did some searching and found a post by meltdown on 1/18/02 that explained how the web.config file may have been modified and how to fix it.

I followed the suggestion and got back into business.

Thanks for responding so quickly. As you may guess, I was fliping out.

Tomtt
