Can someone help me? I forgot my MySQL ROOT password? I don't understand what to do from what the Manual on <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mysql.com">www.mysql.com</a><!-- w --> say's.
When I try and connect
mysql -uroot -p
I get:
ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)
