How do you suggest H1 and H2 tags? Where exactly can we get this and any suggestions on proper selection of h1 and h2 tags. We are looking something like that for this site Code: www.itsoho.co.uk .. Not really understanding the question. Your theme does have heading tags used. Quote: Originally Posted by HTMLBasicTutor Not really understanding the question. That is why I am asking on how to select words/phrases to put on H1, H2 so on.. to help the site. Thanks Moved to SEO forum. This is really an SEO question, not a coding question.

BTW:
Once you select the phrase for your heading you code it like this:
HTML Code: <h3>Heading</h3>You change the 3 to a number from 1 to 6. Remember to keep proper heading structure. If the size and formatting of the heading doesn't suit the look of the page, you can fix this in your CSS instead of using the wrong set of heading tags to get the formatting you want. As much as possible, use H1 tags only once every page. It can be your title that has your targeted keyword. Heading tags are very much helpful for search engine crawlers to make sure the importance of that particular webpage. It is from H1 upto H6, Having the increment in the dgree of importance respectively. H1 and h2 are only for your page text. You should put your main heading in H1 tags, and for sub-headings H2 or H3 tags are good. you can make them hyper link also! Neither of these answer the OP's question about how to decide what keywords in the heading tags.
