I recently changed host providers, during my stay with them I had a form configured to direct info to an email.asp file. Could anyone advise if there is a better way to direct info, perhaps to an Access DB. I noticed that there was some server issues in the past, yet my new host provider doesn't give any support on DB issues. Thanks in advance to anyone with feedback on this. Also, please advise if I should I post some of the script that I have.
If I understand your situation, you had a table set up on your old host to run an email.asp page.
Now that you've moved, you've lost that data because you didn't have a way to retrieve it from your old host?
If that's right, I would recommend still using your host's db backend, but just build an ASP page on your local machine to connect to your server's db backend and copy the data down to a local MS Access file or a local version of mySQL or MS SQL Server, or whatever you may have.
