what makes you think there is another reason ?
A lot of system hosted on secureserver.ru DC are affected by that outage ^^
 
Its because of the past few days that I'm seeking a new host and a new district. I feel really bad about GYSN being down for so long. I really don't know if what lordsyntax said is true or if they even had DC problems, but I hope they find something else like a private server there or get out of Malaysia for now (if they are even in Malaysia), it seems plagued the past month. I have had a really ugly experience since being hosted in Malaysia, the connection from there always seems to be an underlying problem.

it´s GYSN TEAM back again you´ll be able to find what happened last days
 
They are down again! Still no answers from them when they were online, but they did give us vBlogetin RC1 before they disappeared ;)
 
I worked as a DC system administrator for 1 year, and i can say that russian system administrators works well and speedy.
And such company as SecureServer.Ru - even better .
