Some people mass clicked my ads to bother me and I got banned from adsense...back in april. Will the adsense people let me back in? I have a differnt site and everything now.How would I go about asking them? The chances are slim - very slim.It is not the website or the content that are banned from adsense but moreso the person behind the website and the content aka you.The ban is a lifeban - it may seem harsh but google banning someone for life means they dont want you to be associated with their products = so you could start using a different search engine and request google take all their spyware off your machine (google tooldbar etc and reveal any other spyware they may have).* I am not google bashing but if they ban someone and ban them for life they should also provide a way for that person to be able to disassociate themselves from google totally - and also so they dont ever see any google ads etc.** There are just so many questions by people after they are banned that it would help prevent all the questions if google just gave them a link to follow so that they could uninstall all google privacy gathering tools and at the same time install a block access to all google products and websites. They aren't stopping you from uninstalling thier "spyware" or not using thier search engine.. and a simple entry into your hosts file will prevent you ever having to look at adsense ads... I doubt they would care, or even notice, if you done this.As for getting back into adsense, It's not worth it, If they find out that you are the same person you will have the second account banned too and lose any money you have made in the mean time. better off just using another ppc program.there are lots of ppc programs out there just start using another one, and if you mad at google just think of using there competetors ppc program as a very slight revengeI'm not mad at all, I love google! Its just adsense anyway...So i need to find an alternativeLet me tell you something, google is the best search engine around on the internet, you were certainly attached to their reputation, now they must have put a ban on you, but i think you should look into the issue seriously as it is a matter of prestige of your website. You could request them again, and apology on behalf of the spammer is very important. Now take care and deal with the king carefully.cheersThe adsense ban is for a website and not the person. They invite you to use adsense on other websites even though they ban one.I will have to disagree with you here, masterpage. When Google bans you from AdSense, they ban the person for life, not just the site. I was banned from AdSense too and have no idea why. Google would not provide any details; they said they couldn't divulge that information due to the proprietary nature of their data. I went through the appeal process to no avail. The powers that be at Google have forgotten where they came from and they obviously no longer care about the little guy. I have heard from more and more people being banned with absolutely no explanation and no recourse. It may not seem like a big deal and that you can just go find another PPC program, but some people have worked very hard to establish AdSense sites/networks that have become their sole source of income, just to have it all taken away. It is very shortsighted that a company as large and powerful as Google isn't reasonable enough to have developed a better system of checks and balances. It would be more appropriate for them to disable a site and not the person, and allow the site owner the opportunity to rectify whatever situation got the site banned. Since Google will not divulge the reason for the banning, how is a person supposed to fix the problem?Google also has to realize that, in some cases, there are site owners being targeted by vengeful people whose sole motivation is to get them banned. If someone has a bone to pick with an AdSense site owner, all they need to do is have a clickfest on their site(s).I still use Google's search engine; after all, it is the best. I just wish they'd reevaluate their TOS and be reasonable. The more people they ban, the higher the possibility of those people joining together to force Google to be held accountable for the decisions they make that affect people's futures.Funny thing about kings...they have been known to be dethroned!Sorry, but we were banned for some reason that we do not know. They banned one site and specifically said that the account was not cancelled. They invited us to use it in other sites. And we are.Well, then you must be an exception, for some unknown reason. I have never before heard of anyone just having one site banned and being able to keep their account active to use with other sites. Of all of the hundreds of people who I have personally heard from that have been banned from AdSense, they received an e-mail from Google just like I did, advising of the deactivation of their account, with absolutely no recourse except for a useless attempt at an appeal that I believe no human ever reads. So, your statement that "The adsense ban is for a website and not the person.", is not completely accurate as it definitely is not the way it usually goes. They don't usually "invite you to use AdSense on other websites even though they ban one." Also, once banned, you're always banned unless you are fortunate enough to win an appeal, which is very rare.My staement is 100% ACCURATE. You are speaking from your perspective and not for Google. Your claim of what is usual is from what happened to you.Google bans web sites and banning a web site does not cancel the account. If your violation is blatant, you are an obvious spammer and so on, then your account will be closed. But if you err, they ban the site only.Quote:
