Is there anyway i can enable a google bot to access my members only pages so that i can get more indexed. It is within these members only pages that the true content of the site is exposed.I have a short piece of PHP at the top of the pages:Code: [ Select ]What's the sense in having a member login if you are going to open access to the pages? If you let the bot in, someone else maybe able to get in as well.I didn't think that was possible. Well the whole concept of my game is that you login to play it. So i need someway for Google/Yahoo etc to index the pages.Do you know of anyway or not?We have done something similar with one site.For normal operation of the site, it requires that you enter your zip code to get into the site, so that it matches you up with your distributor for that area.For some links we have placed a single pixel image that links to the page AND passes along a variable that allows it to go through without the zip code. Google finds that, and can index the full site. Users don't find it, and enter their zip code to begin browsing. The site also does a secondary zip check before checkout, to assure that it is associated to the correct distributor.You might be able to do something like that - pass along the no-logon variable with a single pixel graphic.BUT - if your site gets indexed, then people may be able to get to some of the hidden content by bringing up the cached info from Google.Good luck.
