Hi, My website http://www.pottersrealm.com is not being indexed often by Google. I have a robots.txt file in place, but the indexing occurs every 15 or so days. The content in my website changes at least twice a day. Also my PR is quite low, rather the pagerank indicator in Firefox that I use, does not indicate any page rank! What could be wrong? How do I get Google to index my pages often? Also about 211 pages are indexed in google at present , but the allinurl returns them all with the same description. http://www.google.co.in/search?q=allinu ... l&filter=0How do I get the description to be different for each URl, kindly advise. BTW, nice site this This is a PR3 site and 15 days is expected. If you had more back links this could take you upto 4/5 days but I think you need a lot more back links. To get more back links make a links page and swap with other good Potter sites. One tip that you probably do anyway is place any new pages on the homepage...this helps get the pages indexed quicker.I have noticed that Google has slowed down in updating the cache for my site lately. Since the beginning of May it has been updated weekly (down from every 2 days). While this is not normal for my site ... it not a reason to panic. If the changes are small Goole does not need to crawl frequently to rank your site correctly.JibranChange the META description tag. You should have a different description for each page.rtchar update times are critical to my movie review site and for every day miss I could potentially lose 200 visitors a day. Its not like a service or shop website.I was lucky enough to get selected by Google News but even though Google news gets my new articles within a day it does NOT include them in the index and I have to wait around 6 days
