Has anyone else had a very positive reaction since implementing a Google site map?Not much pal - my page indexing runs something like this
re-GS : 5000+Post GS:3 days: 44004: Days : 37006 days: 220019 days: 1240025 days: 138001 month: 8700 Sitemaps Suck!!!I agree, the site maps don't help that muchSitemaps is still in beta ... my guess is that it will not have a major impact for a couple of cycles.I am waiting to hear how quickly NEW sites are included, if you use Sitemaps to submit them.Not really seeing a change in indexing traffic.The only positive you can get from google sitemap is your can be crawled faster by Gbot...It dont gives you a positive affect on your ranking .... theres no guarantee your site will be indexed.... What method did you use to create your site map with sitemap generator?- Urlist- Directory- AccesslogI choosed the urllist method with a urrlist.txt fileI have a website with many subpages in the shape: "page.php?code=Number"So, the directory method had not been able to list all the urls.I wrote a perl script to build all the urls getting data from mysql db and create weekly the urlist and a new sitemap.
