It is banal post but I don't know what to do with this problem. My site (http://www.photochart.com) is up from 2-3 months and it does not appear in Google listing nevertheless it has 130 backlinks there. I know it is with dinamyc content but it is not the first. I even submit my sitemap.xml in Google Sitemaps. Can you review it and tell me what could be the reason for that?Meta tags are fine<meta name="revisit-after" content="7 days"><meta name="robots" content="index, follow">Do you have them excluded in a robots.txt file?I do not use robots.txt as I know it is for files and folder you do not want to be indexed.I would remove the robot metatags.Although you are telling bots to visit or follow, they do that anyway. Thetags are best used to tell them not to do something rather than dosomething.I have heard that they can cause "confusion" in a spider ... don't know if that is true or not.I only use it to keep them out of certain pages I don't want to appear insearch results.Quote:Also, the Google "webmaster guidelines" says that using session id'sto track users will cause problems with the googlebot:"Allow search bots to crawl your sites without session IDs or arguments that track their path through the site. These techniques are useful for tracking individual user behavior, but the access pattern of bots is entirely different. Using these techniques may result in incomplete indexing of your site, as bots may not be able to eliminate URLs that look different but actually point to the same page."You seem to be using those. This could also be the problem. I'll try to remove the session id from the url.Lastly:2-3 months is not too long ... it can take longer.I'm no expert on things but that other site with a similar name wouldannoy me: http://www.photochart.com.br2-3 months is long for me. This is not the first site I've made but is the first not indexed so long. I am almost sure that the problem is in this session id at the end of the url. I did not pay attention to it, because accept cookie is enabled in my browser (but of course not in googlebot). the server is configured with transparent sid ON (big mistake I think).Thank you very much!I wanna thank you again. After these changes my site is well indexed. This discussion helps me to better understand search engine optimization.
