I have done Google place submission for my website about a week ago and also made it 100. I have two positive reviews on that. But still its not showing with other results in the SERP. Also there are some sites for which google maps are being shown with the organic result. Does anybody can tell me how much time it takes to come ion first page for Google places submission?? Also how can I use street view for my website?? Should I integrate it with in my website?? Do it have any advantage on ranking??? You may want to do some SEO for your Google Places page. Plug in some relevant keywords in your description will help. Also, adding a special online offer may bring up your rankings as well. Google Places is fairly new. Not much is known about how the rankings are done. It seems like it has something to do with the location of the searchers, because Google wants to display listings closest to the searchers' locations. Yeah that is right. Google shows results closet to the area where the search is performed. One of my site in has taken street view by default. Its from Ireland. But I am still looking for the answer behind this. In my experience it tends to take a while for a new entry to soak in. Give it some more time.

The more local the searcher or their search query is to your location the better chance you have. The stronger you entry, the broader you can perform.

One way to strengthen your entry is to make sure you have other website re-enforcing your address. That is your own website and local directories contain the same address as your places entry.

Google is now integrating its places entries with the associated websites. I believe this will mean that the status of your website will have more influence over how well your places entry performs.
