Google Paid Search (adsense)

So we run adsense and make a good amount from each click generated... on the other hand, we also run the google search where you can also make money off the clicks.We get a good amount of clicks from the google search but each click is no more than 2 cents each time. Does Google have a standard payout for their search? You'd think you would get the same payout as if the clicked link were on adsense.... Does anyone know? Thanks-bbott
