Is anyone seeing PR updating on their sites? My site suddenly got PR throughout the directory at http://www.ibsteam.net/wsnlinks/ - it was grey bar all the time till now - deep internal pages obtained PR1. I don't know if it's gonna stay, because last PR update it was the same way and PR didn't stay. Although my directory index.php finally got PR3 as just / Any movements? Not seeing a thing yet..But one of my sites did finally get into DMoz a few days ago Our site listing on the Google Directory under the ASP.NET web hosting category still shows PR4 but it has been over 2 months since our site is PR6.So for us its still no change. btw an off the track link I have uploaded a few pictures on the internet of Calcutta (INDIA) I hope you would like it.http://vijaybhatter.fotopic.netCheers.only two pictures are available - all other graphics isn't available see bunch of red crossesThe thumbnails are not coming I think something wrong with their application. Anybody knows of a better online space than Fotopic.net with no advertisementstoday internal PR that I saw yesterday is gone I have confirmed that PR and backlinks are now updating. You can see the new backlinks here:http://64.233.161.98/and if you add this line to your hosts file you can see the new PR on your website:64.233.161.98 toolbarqueries.google.comMight be a google toolbar bug or we soon be having another Google PR update in 20 days. As last Google PR update was on 7th April 2004.Regards,seams like I was posting at the same time the same stuff at http://www.ozzu.com/viewtopic.php?p=65957#65957let's get only one thread going...I am seeing the PR jump around a bit and one client I lost about 500 links, which I know is wrong. Will have to let things settle down and take a nice weekend not thinking about it .Many boards are talking about this update, and I am not sure if it is permanent, however there is definetely something going on and I do know that bigwebmaster.com has gone up 5000+ backlinks on this change in the last 24 hours.Okies, I've seen some of my new sites go from unranked to PR4 going through the other IP..64.233.161.98 <-- That one I went from 9 backlinks to 174 backlinksI also changed my site from short-circuit.zapto.org to computerbb.orgbut I still only have a PR of 5everything is ok with this update again, my sites get upgraded to the upper pr's, everyone upgraded ... ok very nice , gald to hear from this gainings, But where the pr updates goes? Until 2005 , there will be a million of page that has pr9,pr10 with this risings....I always feel something stupid with this PR'sdolay, I noticed from my own experiance that PR should be supported by content and seams like Google is trying to implement it by lowering reciprocal links value, blocking PR sellers and ignoring content duplicates. But, this is the goalunique and quality content + supported by other related and high quality resources = stability and value cadibility by SEs and visitors. So, I think when google actually will come to the point when they can evaluate the actual content + where the inbound links coming from, bind it together and there will be much lower PR on a lot of manipuator's sites. The thing is that right now PR is the value of the page and not the content; Inbound links maintain the PR and not the content. I think google will find the way to wtuch places between PR and content pretty soon and there wont be million of PR9 & 10 loosers which value based on reciprocal links. As I wrote in another thread on this site, my real estate site has 1200 pages indexed by Google and only 37 backlinks that google see and my competitor has 401 backlinks on google and only 100 pages indexed. They compite with me for at least 5 months, but we're #1 on main keyphrases and the are #2. Of course it can change at any moment because they are trying to manipulate the results very hard, but they already it banned by Yahoo. BTW 64.233.161.98 shows a drop for backlinks to us down to 28 (from 38 ) and PR down to 4 (from 5), but my competitor goes up to PR6 and up to 553 backlinks - altough they are still #2 and we're #1. To make this example more realistic, the sites that taking 3rd and 4th etc. places for the same keyphrases have less than 20 backlinks and between 150 and 250 pages indexed. During last update my competitor was gone from google and I though they actually found the way to filter such crap out, but maybe they just were testing... we all know it's coming - remember Florida
