Google is indexing the wrong site

About 2 months ago, I asked my ISP to point my A record to a new server because their server is useless. For contractual reasons, we can't cancel the account yet, so a pointer seemed like a good idea. At the same time, I re-built our site and launched it on the new server. It had been built on a Joomla platform, but I wanted to make the site static, with a Wordpress blog. A couple of weeks ago, I googled cwc.co.za to see what URL's had been indexed, and found that Google still shows only our old site. So I generated an xml sitemap and uploaded it. According to Google, the sitemap has errors, so still no indexing. I re-submitted the sitemap today. I also checked my Google Webmaster account to see when the site had last been indexed. According to the stats, it was last visited on october 16. However, Google still doesn't show the new site. Other search engines have picked up the new site and are ranking us in the top 10 for many of our search terms, but Google isn't playing ball. Any ideas what needs to be done as I'm really confused? Thanks.Sometime it takes a few weeks. That happen to me.What are your sitemap errors? Sometimes having a sitemap error will indicate exactly what is going on and why you aren't being indexed.shrubbery,i believe that you have to be patient in achieving your goal which is "to get indexed". it does occur specially if you have a wordpress blog incorporated in your business site.Google owns blogger now, why not try to sign up an account (blog) and blog about your site and provide some links for that business site of yours, maybe it would help.the master06
