How come Google indexes bodydot.com, but not http://www.bodydot.com?I put a redirect in the .htaccess yesterday to force bodydot.com to http://www.bodydot.com, but that doesn't explain why there is no reference to the index file.- bodydot.com is a really really new site, like I just finished it Saturday. It's Wednesday.- I use a 404 redirection to deliver pages to the appropriate program and script. Can the cause something if I don't put the appropriate headers in place?JMHave you used webmaster tools available in google? It gives you option to choose http://www.yoursite.com and yoursite.com for indexing purpose and allows you to define this. In case you haven't tried the option go ahead and review the tool - a must have for webmasters to derive information on their sites.ThxGSI will try that. I forgot about those tools.I have actually noticed it is indexing the www site now. Wierd.camperjohn wrote:Yes!I am amazed at how fast pages are indexed now.
