Hello there, Perhaps anyone could help us. It's been about a month and a half or so since we first launched our website http://www.commsols.com. We check every day and see that the site is still not indexed by Google Other Search engines like Yahoo and so on have already crawled the most part of the site pages, and Google seems to be ignoring it. Does anyone have an idea why? Maybe we should change something on the site?Thanx in advance. It takes some time to get into google. Sometimes it can take a couple of days, sometimes a couple of months, sometimes never.. Just keep working on your backlinks and they should index it eventually.I would be patient...I thought the same thing with one of my past sites....that wasn't being indexed...then it happened two months later.I can't remember when I first put a link to my website, but last night google finally started sending me some traffic.44 or so people on one search term (about 6000 searches a month done on that term using overture keywords tool). I was getting highly frustrated and was continually bouncing in and out of google index for 3-4 weeks... I just hope now that google started sending traffic that it keeps sending traffic.I know I need to get some backlinks as well. The key is being patient - it really does depend on the type of website you are running how long it will take google to index and take it from the -sandbox affect-Hello, Thanx for your replies, It's just all more or less reputable sources say that it takes no more than 4 weeks to get indexed. That's why we started to get nervous about it. Well, anyway nothing is left except for waiting. RegardsIf you have an inbound link from a related site, that gets regularly crawled by google, then you may already be indexed (just not showing in results yet due to being a new site etc)How long it takes to start showing in results is very hard to say - it depends on competition and content of the site.
