Is it safe to say that 2 weeks is about the timeframe for Google to p/u fresh Content? Depends on your site, and how often you update your content. Mine seems to be indexed by a 2 week mark if not sooner. If you submit an XML sitemap containing all of your pages, then it might help speed the process. thats right it depends... if i make some changes or update i usually promote the site or pages for fast indexing.. I think nobody could make a guess that when google crawls a particular content because their robots checks for the quality and make sure the duplicate content is not posted but sometimes you're luck because the duplicate content is crawled but don't think that you would be spared all the time once google caught you they would definitely penalize you.. Is their any other option to get indexed quickly. if you promote your new content regularly you will be index regularly. I thinks this is too long a time frame and probably not a good one ..Keep it shorter Quote: Originally Posted by ShaneeK. Depends on your site, and how often you update your content. If your site have solid content than it can crawl quickly. Just focus on content and update it on regular basis. it is wrong concept. google will index your old content every time you upload new content, keep updating your website & keep the google happy.
