My website was fetching every information in detail from amazon and was providing some better navigation and ease of search. But essentially I had listed each and every Page of amazon on my website.I had GOOGLE indexed pages of more than 200,000 in about 6 months, YAHOO Also indexed my website for more than 50,000 pages. Alexa went into millions of indexed pages.I started getting traffic like crazy everyday. Bandwidth consumption in GB's a day. I was there on first page of yahoo and google for 100's of keywords. But one day, everything suddenly stopped. My website stopped coming up for the keywords. My website stopped coming up even with its name
Thats when I got introduced with the word Search engine BAN. They Could not remove the indexed pages very fast because there were too many but they definitly stopped showing results from my website.Why they banned me, because It was a duplicate of Amazon and was not serving any additional advantage to consumers.My point in nutshell is, Even though you can see so many pages indexed with search engines, it does not mean that your website is not banned.
