I got a phone call from Godaddy's "Domain Buy" department today. I guess it's their version of a negotiator/brokerage. The Godaddy rep was very kind and gave me a brief overview of the process. First I indicate yes I am interested in selling, then they do an appraisal (for their client not me), and start negotiating. Of course Godaddy's role is to secure the domain for their client at the lowest possible price.
My question is, does anyone have any experience with Godaddy as a negotiating broker? Do "low ballers" use Godaddy's service or do they cater to a higher clientele?
Next question... Does anyone know of any good negotiators that represent domain sellers?
This will probably be another low ball offer, but even in the future its probably wise for me to have someone representing me and my wallet.
