Globat nightmare - how do I get out of this?!?!

Well,
I registered a domain at Globat about half a year ago.
3 months later I've sold the domain and changed the owner details in the console.

It appears that globat does not provide means to move a domain from one account to the other + their messed up console does not even allow change of password.

So I gave the guy my account and it's password as it was the only domain on it.

Here comes the but part:
Apperently Globat keeps my Credit card info on that account and use it for any action on the domain. Latest thing was they charged me for an upgrade they mailed me about and supposibgly I was supposed to "opt-out" if I do not want to pay.
I never heard of such a non-honest way of pulling money out of people from such a distinguished company but then again....

So - I called them and asked them to:
a. Cancell the upgrade I never ordered and refund my money immediatly.
b. Remove my credit card info from their records.

The customer service rep did indeed send my refund request to their billing devision but claimed they can not remove my credit card details unless someone else enters his details instead (like the buyer).

The problem is I'm now in a "catch":
If I ask the buyer to put his credit card in then he might think I plan to do miss-honest use of it (as the account password can not be changed).

I also asked if I can maybe have the buyer setup a new account with them and then push the domain over to him and again - the said no.

So basically I am stuck with a domain I don't own that still get paid and upgraded from my personal credit card.

I tought of maybe doing a domain transfer to another registrar but as it's registered at Godaddy (globat must have resold for Godaddy somehow?!) all the free transfer companies say they can't transfer it.

I am totally clueless now - any ideas what else I can do to seperate from that domain?

Any advice? Did someone face this situation and found a solution?
