Hi, I wasnt really sure where to put this but, ive just created a new page which contains mostly pictures, i have one Gif animation which on a loop, but when i click on it or any of the other links the animation stops. It only starts off again if the page is refreshed. Is there any code to put that will keep the animation going?

Thanks for all help
You could put the animation in a separate frame but thats hardly worth the effort. You could do the animation in flash, but once again probably not worth the effort. My suggestion is to not worry about it.use an image editing program and adjust the loop value. different programs have different widgets to do this, and some don't have them at all.ahh how soon we forget
yes but that is not a very practical solution for a page with lots of links or form buttons or other widgets. You would have to have the javascript in every widget on the page!well thats weird tho:/ cus i never had such a problem with .gif images anyways i think its the gif editor? cus the ones i did work fine

try

unlead gif animator 5 should be a trial sumwhere

maybe im totally wrong but anyways lolOriginally posted by Scully
It depends on the browser you use, its not the gif animator program. With IE, when you click on a widget on the page, the animations will stop animating until the page is refreshed, its been that way since at least IE4 if my memory serves me.I use this as a feature to freeze the frame of a banner by simply clicking onto a link or the banner then when finnished drag your mouse to an empty area of the screen.

Just try it :Dlol *doh*
ahem sorry i didnt notice it lol
