Whats the best way about getting high page rank placement for a bunch of keywords instead of just the one your using for your backlinks.
For example i have an insurance site. The keyword i am targeting is like "Georgia Insurance" now i chose this keyword because it gets a lot more hits that for example "georgia life insurance" and " georgia auto insurance" but i still want to be ranked for those keywords to....
So because i have tons of backlinks with the words Georgia and Insurance already in it, will that help my page placement for keywords like georgia insurance?
what if my content is loaded with the filler keywords like, "life" , "auto" , "health" insurance. Will that get me on the right tract to being ranked high since i will be ranked high for a better keyword?
I dont see it physically possible to do seo for 20+ highly competitive keywords. SO how do other sites accomplish this???
P.S. I have even seen some sites that when i check their backlinks dont have a keyword attached to it. Just says "visit site" or "http://www.domain(dot)com" and they are ranked super high for very hard keywords. And the backlink page ranks are all not very high. SO whats up with this??
Thanks A bunch all. Start getting those words, "life", "auto", "health" as anchors in your backlinks. They don't necessarily have to be exactly the keywords you want to rank for ie, "georgia life insurance". Anchors like "georgia life" or "georgia insurance" or just "life", will all help and in fact are probably better because varied backlinks are more natural looking to the search engines. Your current backlinks will help, just keep varying them. And do some on page things for those other keywords you want to rank for, like throwing them in some <h1> tags or <img alt="georgia life insurance"> tags.
As far as how other sites accomplish being ranked for multiple keywords, I'd have to say it's because some sites have so many links or so much authority, that they pick up a lot of keywords because there are no other sites optimizing for them... those are the best keywords to go for. Check out the SEO Periodic Table for all the factors that go into rankings. you can target multiple kws at the same time.. its up to you on how you are going to handle and build links using it.. aleo, thanks a bunch for the reply that has helped a little.
So if i stop using the keyword georgia insurance in my back links and change it to life insurance, will my placement for georgia insurance go down now? Quote: Originally Posted by OrlandoInsurance aleo, thanks a bunch for the reply that has helped a little.

Try something like: "Georgia Insurance Agency Offers Life and Auto Policies" Quote: Originally Posted by indybail Try something like: "Georgia Insurance Agency Offers Life and Auto Policies" That seems like a very long keyword to link doesnt it? georgia Auto policies
insurance auto
and other variations of that long long keyword.......? I'm not going to pretend to be 100% sure, but based on my experience and knowledge, I'd definitely say no. From my understanding, and how I build anchors, is each seperate word in one particular anchor counts seperately. So taking a very simplistic approach towards this whole thing (because really none of us know for sure, only Google and the creators of the algorithm really know), an anchor such as "georgia life insurance" will benefit your page for each word separately. It will get a little SEO love, so to speak, for the words georgia, life, and insurance. More backlinks will only help, not hurt. How is backlink and anchor management black hat? Quote: Originally Posted by aleo1203 How is backlink and anchor management black hat? He must have mis-spoke..
That is not black hat...
