Getting gxboxlive stats displayed on forumhome?

I know it's possible and there is a feature inside the plugin to automatically do this, however it's not working. So they say if it does not work to put $gxblstats inside the forumhome where you want it displayed.

When I do this anywhere inside the forumhome template I get nothing. All help is appreciated. Thanks!
