Hey,
A small tip for ya... it has worked in a time range of 24 hours to as long as 4 days. I don't know why that is, but in any case here is my quick strategy.
First, you have a good keyword, three word phrases.
Second, your website that your trying to get on the first page of google is relevant to the chosen keyword.
Goto, Digg, make a post, and in the title and description place the chosen keyword.
Note: This works better if one of the words in Diggs tags on the bottom are relevant to your keyword.
Pick a relevant tag.
Then post the Digg submission. If it says there is something similar, by pass it at the bottom.
------------------------------------------
Then, what you want to do is copy the URL Digg produces. It is the one with your keyword in it, example:
Code: http://digg.com/(tag)/This_is_your_TitleThis_is_Your_Title = your chosen keyword.
Take that URL, and then bookmark it across the web. If you have an automated bookmark software this takes 10 minutes.
------------------------------------------
The site should be indexed, and indexed HIGH most of the time on the first page on Google in 24 hours.
The time and placement really varies on the keyword selection, so that is the most important thing.
Try it out, let me know your results.
steve
P.S ~ This is a time limited position, eventually due to DIGG you won't be on that spot for a long period of time. WOW! I can't wait to try this. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the tip, will try and say about the result. Quote: Originally Posted by WebInvestor

But that Digg(our title content) page would be appear in serps not for our site. Hey Ashok,
Yes, I understand that, but the traffic is what this post is about. As I said due to Digg your posts will lose their ranking eventually as well.
It' just a cool little doozie. I've done this in the past, and it was a mistake the first time I did it. (A rather pleasant mistake).
Anyways, yes it does work, and yes it will go away after a while too. This can be a great way to get a quick traffic boost, which can be very helpful if you have a new product you are launching, but like others have said, the effects will go away after a while.
