You can also get high pagerank links from social bookmarking sites. You simply bookmark your content to get links to your site. You'd definitely also want to bookmark other sites too, to be of use to the community. Only bookmarking your own pages could get you into hot water with the social bookmarking site.

Shoutwire.com nice list although i dont know if it will be enough to get high page rank although it will be beneficial from an optimisation point of view. great list, but there are so many bookmarking website which has even more high PR, so try to use those website to get ranking high in search engines. Social bookmarking sites do help, but mostly just for indexing and traffic. What's best for increasing PR is your content and link building techniques used as well as the manner of submitting your links. Because some people just post their link with no quality... Stuff like 'LinkaGoGo'.. better watch it, Google may penalize you for taking shortcuts... while i totally agree social bookmarks websites is a good and fastest way to get your site index quickly but i do not know that we could also get high pr rank for your site too although i tried to do this before but i only get pr 2 on my blogs.
