Geonames api results incomplete

I am trying to use the geonames webservice api to get every zip code in the United States along with the state info associated with each zip code. However, the xml returned byhttp://api.geonames.org/postalCodeSearch?placename=US&username=indrbr01doesn't contain the information for all of the zip codes. It has a totalResultsCount which is accurate, but the number of zip codes actually in the file is less, and only something like 17 states are represented. Thanks for the help.-Brit
