Hi All<br /> Have been frustrated over CMS thingies. Tried phpwebsite, and geeklog, and joomla.<br />Reinstalled geeklog and have made up my mind that it is not going to defeat me.<br /> Fantastico has installed geeklog into the public_html/geeklog folders..<br />As I have a place holder(index.html) in the public_html folder I can enter my url<br />(atlanticsalmonanglers.com) and my under construction sign comes up..<br />In addition, by adding geeklog to my url and signing I can administrate and change<br />things for the first page(index.php.<br /> My question is "after I remodel the index.php file what do I have to do so that when I<br />enter my url (atlanticsalmonanglers.com) the index.php file opens?"<br /> I realize that index.html has to be removed. " border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><br />To have your geeklog come up by just going to your domain<br />one way is in cpanel > redirect<br />put your <b>index.html</b> in the left window and in the right window put your <b>domain/geeklog/index.php</b><br />then select temporary or permanent redirect depending on if this will be temopary or not.<!--content-->
