GameTrailers.com moves into online TV--China Net Technology Limited

GameTrailers.com has announced that it is to move into the field of online television by launching its own weekly show.
The website states that the production will be in collaboration with Spike TV - a division of MTV Networks - and marks the first time that the company has created a tailored half-hour digital show for linear television.
According to a spokesman for Spike TV, it is hoped that the show, titled GameTrailers TV, will allow for further growth for the company and allow it to build on its ever expanding network of users.
Jon Slusser, senior vice president of Spike Digital Media and Video Games and executive producer of the series said that both companies were looking forward to getting the product online.
"With GameTrailers TV we are merging our rabid online gaming audience with Spike TV's coveted male 18-34 year-old demo[graphic] to deliver gaming on a massive scale," he said.
According to the GameTrailers.com website, the site was established in 2002 and has grown into the "leading internet broadcaster for the video game industry".
