It never ceases to amaze me as I look at analytics and see what the great Google sends me via traffic. The latest funny, "write something new everyday", seems to be the latest. It's nice to know that the baby website ranks well for some stuff, which means it's, more than likely, out of the sandbox.
Who do I have to thank for this latest one? Why our own V7N forums. It seems my posts on the new V7N Challenge, "Learn Something New Every Day" is to thank. Thanks Cricket And although I never set out to rank for this, with bloggers and looking for ways to write something new everyday, I guess I know what I'll be writing next and linking to on that page.
This is just another reason why I keep telling people in my posts here why analytics are so important. Without them, I'd never known my ranking for that, and I'd never have the opportunity to capitalize on the results.
So, what's your funny that ranks well at Google and you didn't try to rank for?
P.S. Out of over 9 million results for the term, I comfortably sit at number 4 on page one Ok, this is just one of the weirdest terms i'm ranked good for and did not plan to.
Type in "samsung c530 40 inch" into google and looks like i'm ranked number 2 if i'm looking at this write.
[EDIT]: During xmas, i got 50% more traffic because of this term "dan white dynamic templates"
Returns one of my blog posts relating to the removal of nofollow attribute in blogger as 5th spot 1st page.
