Hi there. I want to start webhosting business but i only know about cpanel and whm. Can anyone tell me a good Fully Management service provider that fully manage my dedicated server? Is Platinum server management provides fully dedicated server management services??? Thanx in advance. Sorry for my bad english.I would suggest liquidweb...Their support and service are the BEST.Platinum Server Management does a good job, however their response times may be a bit longer as from other companies around there (never the less i have only seen them answering well within their advertised response times) but i can imagine some might wish faster replies, obviously prices go up in these cases ;)).You ask: "are they a fully management company", no i don't believe so, why i say this is because they will not act pro-active and only re-active, you will need to tell them what you want to happen. Note that his is the case with many of these management companies, so make sure you know what you want/need.Hi,Have you checked the wiki list : http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/Comp ... ementCheck also the System Management Offers.Regards,Bobbywww.admingeekz.com (http://www.admingeekz.com) is really good, not the cheapest but worth every penny. You ask: "are they a fully management company", no i don't believe so, why i say this is because they will not act pro-active and only re-active, you will need to tell them what you want to happen. Full management is not defined by proactive support. Full management is defined by what is covered. For example, a company offering semi managed may only offer support for certain types of requests, whereas a company offering fully managed offers support for anything.* Moved to Managed Hosting and Services....

SiriusI would suggest liquidweb...Their support and service are the BEST.

Compared to who? IMO not to AxisHost.com :)

Go with Axishost.com :agree:

Tina is a regular on these forums and she could probably answer any questions you have. I've been with them over 5 years. ;)you can buy dedicated from any good provider and for server management you can simply join logicsupport.com they are very good provide best support , my all servers are managed by logicsupport onlywhat about http://pc-core.net? they are cheap and also provides fully managed servers. Are they trust worthy???are http://pc-core.net trust worthy? They said they provide fully managed servers. And what about webbycart.com? Will webbycart.com provide fully management to my server?Full management is not defined by proactive support. Full management is defined by what is covered. They probably don't even know it is needed. How would you call this : Fully Fully Managed Service? or just Pro-active fully managed service ?How would you call this : Fully Fully Managed Service? or just Pro-active fully managed service ?

If you want a management company to make changes on your box without you requesting them, that would be proactive management, and it will likely cost you a great deal more than PSM.If you want a management company to make changes on your box without you requesting them, that would be proactive management, and it will likely cost you a great deal more than PSM.

In my mind, "fully managed" means that the provider will proactively handle any root level need quickly and without being told. Otherwise, as someone else pointed out - how would the customer even know that something needed to be done? Its unreasonable to expect a customer to be informed of such things, in my opinion.

Ten24Host: Thanks for the kind words. :)

--Tina"Fully" and "Semi" managed means different things to everyone. The best thing is to define what you need done and then find a provider that meets those specific needs."Fully" and "Semi" managed means different things to everyone. Spot on advice. There are no industry wide standards for those definitions, so it is best to ask your potential host to define what those terms mean to THEM.

--TinaYou need to check the list given at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/Comp ... management , I am sure you can test each one of them :)Hi friends again. There is many posts on WHT that talk about this very topic and to tell you the truth if I knew how to get 100's of clients in a few days I doubt I would tell anyone lol. But the best way to start out is with word of mouth and reliable service. If your service is reliable then word of mouth will follow and so will your client base.I would honestly start with a managedVPS and go from there. Try SolarVPS.com they have some nice managed cpanel packages. Going for a full blown managed dedicated server might be to much to bite off right away $$ wise.Compared to who? Sorry, but I have to agree with the original suggestion of Liquidweb, they are the best choice I've ever made.Look at logicsupport.com . They work well for server management.

Intelligent guys to rely on.Try contacting platinumservermanagement. Just as of recently I installed something on the server I don't even know why I did this without contacting platinum first. Well it turned out to be a big mess. I submitted a ticket to them and within the hour all fixed. :) Was finally able to get to sleep Thanks to Platinumservermanagement.PSM is great, also there ticket responce time 15min even sometime it bit less than 5min
