Frustrating! Something wrong in the code...

OK, I posted a conversation between two people on this page, put my name in blue with 'CCCCCC' hexadecimal, didn't know the hexadecimal for orange so I just entered the word orange, like so:
<"#orange">
... but for some reason it all came out blue. So I tried a random hexadecimal string, and the first usage resulted in a shade of purple - but, after that, every occurence was blue!

I can only conclude that there's some sort of error in my code - probably something simple, which will be embarassing as I've been working with HTML for a couple of years now.

Here is the web page (http://members.odinsrage.com/exterminan ... jews2.html) in question.Weirder and weirder. My friend supplied me with the hexadecimal code for orange, I used it... First example = orange, every subsequent example = green? :confused:Use "orange" or "#ffa500" not "#orange"I have a friend helping me out, but things are getting weirder... now I have orange... but my name is grey instead of blue!!! :confused:orange is "#ffa500"
blue is "#0000ff"
you are using "#cccccc" which is greyOriginally posted by Fang
I'll try that code... but I could have sworn 'CCCCCC' was light blue!OK, your code worked... it's blue alright! Thanks!
