Newbie here again...
I've created a web page with FP02 and in the footer have created a page updated line with the time inserted. The time shown is from my servers location which is 14hrs ahead of me. Is there a way to display the local time I updated the page without having to manually do it myself?
Thanks.local time as in your time? no, I do believe you have to use serverside programming to figure out waht the time is in your timezone. Why not include the time zone in the timestamp? Visitors can then convert it to their own time. Don't use one of those three-letter codes though, as there is no standard for that. In the old style, EST could be Eastern Standard Time (US) [UTC-0500], European Summer Time [UTC+0100], or Eastern Standard Time (Australia) [UTC+1000]. Instead, use the numeric Time Zone descriptors showing the offset from UTC as described in ISO 8601 and RFC 3339, as this is much more clear.
