From table into text file

Not too sure if I'm in the right forum but if I am I have a table of employees booked on a course and I need to put all the info in the table into a text file to email as an attachment to company running the course can anyone tell my how I can achieve this?<!--content-->Is this an HTML table or an RDBMS table?<!--content-->Sorry a html table<!--content-->If the email is manual just attach the HTML page containing the table. If you're generating the email then make the body text/html and include the table there.<!--content-->
