Fresh content means you choose a subject and title and then start to write a article about that subject yourself with the knowledge you gained about that subject without using what others wrote about that. I mean you should make a unique content about new subjects. Its my idea. I hop i could explain it good for you. good point there, fresh new content means contracting new ideas even if its from the same topic/title. For me, fresh content wording/line or subject that was not created before and search engines can easily crawl them while people searching.
Further, the idea is already created but you can make it more graceful by adding your comments and thoughts. Fresh content= write everyday. Create podcasts and videos on a regular basis.

I think it would more accurate as "Fresh niche relative original contents".
Updating your sites with niche relative and original contents would be another essential issue for SEO besides increasing backlinks stably.
all the best, This may be a little infantile of a question, but if you are small mom and pop retail shop selling candles for instance, how important is the fresh content? Is this something that they should be doing on a regular basis? The reason I ask is most retail sites don't have many articles on there so how would fresh content help them out?
